It is the most recent installment in the video game series, and it is called EA Sports UFC 5. More recently, the fighters who are utilized the most in the game have been disclosed. These fighters are comprised of the top five male and female fighters, respectively. Conor McGregor, Alex Pereira, Jon Jones, Sean O’Malley, and Israel Adesanya were the individuals who arrived at the top of the men’s ranking, in that particular order.

In the meantime, the women’s list included Valentina Shevchenko, Amanda Nunes, Alexa Grasso, Rose Namajunas, and Joanna Jędrzejczyk, all of whom were included in the same order. One of the fans made a joke about the fact that Pereira is currently ranked higher than Adesanya by portraying it as yet another incident of ‘Poatan’ doing something to his former adversary:

“Alex beating Izzy on the charts too”
While this was going on, another fan voiced their displeasure with McGregor’s antiquated character model:

Welcoming. Conor’s model needs to be fixed.
However, there were a few comments that were hilarious, and among them, CM Punk, a former competitor for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, was mentioned:

“CM Punk robbed”
In one of the comments, Alistair Overeem, a heavyweight mixed martial arts (MMA) legend who had recently retired, was mentioned as his favorite fighter to play as.

“Alistair Overeem every fight for me”

Despite the fact that the announcement of UFC 5 was met with a great deal of excitement at the time, the level of interest shown by fans in the game appears to have decreased, and it is now receiving a variety of perspectives. Whatever the case may be, it continues to be the promotion’s flagship bearer in the world of video games.

Fans are going to be curious to watch who happens to become one of the most played characters based on their performance in the octagon as 2024 begins with a number of fights that are going to be among the most anticipated.

UFC 5 and the EA Sports cover curse

A persistent superstition has persisted ever since EA Sports became the official producer for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) video game series. This superstition asserts that fighters who appear on the game’s covers are more likely to suffer unfortunate events. There has been no deviation from this pattern in UFC 5, as every single competitor featured on the cover has since been unsuccessful in the octagon.
