According to recent reports, the fight between Tai Tuivasa and Alexander Volkov is scheduled to take place at UFC 293 on September 10.
Tuivasa will be making his return to competition in his home country of Australia as a result of the encounter. It would appear that ‘Bam Bam’ has agreed to compete against Alexander Volkov, a former champion of Bellator and another heavyweight contender, at the upcoming pay-per-view event that will take place in Sydney.
Mike Bohn, a journalist for MMA Junkie, was the first person to report on the news.

Tai Tuivasa will seek to rebound from consecutive knockout defeats at the hands of Sergei Pavlovich and Ciryl Gane. Both of his opponents were knocked out. His win record of five straight fights came to an end when he was defeated by the latter in Paris.
Alexander Volkov, on the other hand, will enter the battle riding a two-fight winning run, having earned first-round technical knockout victories over both Alexandr Romanov and Jairzinho Rozenstruik. His opponent, Jairzinho Rozenstruik, is coming into the fight riding a single victory.
In light of the fact that the Russian is in fine form, ‘Bam Bam’ will need to perform at an exceptional level in order to win in front of his fellow Australians and get back to his winning ways.
