Demetrious Johnson was self-assured that he would do well for himself in a Street Fighter competition.

After taking care of business against Adriano Moraes in the main event of ONE Fight Night 10 in Broomfield, Colorado, the famous MMA world champion moved his attention to something that he had been thinking about for a long time: Street Fighter 6.

Even before his great performance, the AMC Pankration and Evolve MMA fighter couldn’t keep his mind off the highly anticipated game. He was unable to concentrate on anything else. Obviously, this takes a back seat to the responsibilities that he has at home as a father and a husband.

After all, the flyweight king is an ardent gamer, and he has been waiting for Capcom to release the sixth version of a game that he has referred to as ‘part of the gaming culture’ for the better part of seven years.

Demetrious Johnson gave his followers a treat by playing multiple rounds of Street Fighter 6 during a recent stream on his gaming channel, Mighty Gaming, which is hosted on YouTube. Johnson used Guile to completely destroy his opponents in a ranked match.

Even further, he admitted that he has entertained the idea of taking part in a Street Fighter competition, implying that he would have no trouble advancing through the various stages of the game.

Mighty Mouse is quoted as saying:

“You know, if I had to compete in a Street Fighter tournament, I believe I could hold my own.” To put it simply, I really want to go. Let’s check to see if there are any Street Fighter competitions in Seattle, which is located in Washington. Let me see. It’s not like I have the spare time to participate in a tournament.”

However, mixed martial arts (MMA) continues to be his primary emphasis.

But regardless of whether or not he chooses to put an end to his illustrious MMA career, the flyweight king has earned some time off from his job after another exciting bout held within the ONE Championship cage.

Through a replay available on Amazon Prime Video, you can relive Demetrious Johnson’s historic trilogy victory at ONE Fight Night 10.
