‘Blessed’ made his UFC debut in 2012 at the age of 20 with a record of 4-0. Max Holloway has one of the best résumés in UFC history and is regarded as a veteran in the promotion despite being only 31 years old. He has since established himself as one of the finest featherweights in sporting history and currently holds several UFC records.
Holloway won the interim featherweight title in 2016 after defeating Anthony Pettis after being 12-3 in 145-pound competition. To become the undisputed champion, he defeated Jose Aldo in his subsequent fight. He then successfully defended his title three times until falling to current champion Alexander Volkanovski.

How long did it take you to recover from your most recent altercation, everyone asks? You understand what I mean when I said, “The next day”? On Sunday, I felt sorry for myself. At UFC 276 Max Holloway faced Alexander Volkanovski for the third round in their long-running feud. ‘The Great’ outclassed ‘Blessed’ over all five rounds of their fight, turning in one of the greatest featherweight performances in history.
In his last seven fights, Holloway is 3-4, but three of those defeats came against Volkanovski. ‘Blessed’ stepped up a category to compete for the interim lightweight title in his fourth fight, which took place at UFC 236 against Dustin Poirier. The Hawaiian has defeated Calvin Kattar and Yair Rodriguez since being deposed.
Holloway’s special “0-0” mentality has enabled him to enter every battle with a clear head because he is neither overly confident in his skills nor underestimating them. This Saturday, he’ll try to hold onto the top spot in the standings.
