Roberto Soldic gushes about Mikey Musumeci, saying, “It’s really crazy the things that he does”

‘Robocop’ Roberto Soldic, a sensation in the sport of mixed martial arts in Croatia, is certain that reigning and undisputed ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion ‘Darth Rigatoni’ Mikey Musumeci will keep his title in their next battle, despite the fact that Musumeci will be going up against his hardest opponent to date.

An openweight submission grappling bout between Musumeci and Shinya ‘Tobikan Judan’ Aoki is scheduled to take place during ONE Fight Night 15: Tawanchai vs. Superbon, which will be broadcast on Prime Video. Aoki is a Japanese legend and a multiple-time former ONE lightweight MMA world champion.

On Friday, October 6, the event will be presented in real time through live transmission from the illustrious Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

In a recent interview with ONE Championship, Soldic expressed his conviction that Musumeci will prevail over Aoki and said that he is certain of this outcome.

“Robocop” remarked:

“It’s a pleasure to be able to witness this. You can take pleasure in the genuine thing. Wrestling is a challenging sport that I enjoy despite its difficulty. It’s pretty strange how Mikey can remain so calm despite the wild things that he does. He is an icon in the history of this sport. I don’t see Mikey coming out on the losing end of this battle.”

Will Soldic’s predictions turn out to be accurate? Musumeci unquestionably has a difficult assignment waiting for him. But ‘Darth Rigatoni’ is the kind of person who can pull it off if anybody can.

Since making his ONE Championship debut in April of 2022, Musumeci has been absolutely unbeatable on the mats, defeating a number of notable competitors along the way, including the Japanese legend Masakazu Imanari and most recently the ONE strawweight MMA world champion Jarred ‘The Monkey God’ Brooks at ONE Fight Night 13 earlier this month. Musumeci is currently undefeated in the ONE Championship.

It has the potential to be the Italian-American’s most significant triumph to date if he is able to prevail over his much larger Japanese opponent, who may be heavier than he is by as much as 50 pounds.

Amazon Prime Video will broadcast all of the action live and for no additional cost to customers in the United States and Canada.

Stay tuned to Sportskeeda MMA for all the breaking news and the most recent information regarding the event as it takes place.
