The year 2023 has been a year of non-stop and full-packed Muay Thai action for ONE Championship. This is due to the fact that the organization has booked several dream matches, which has resulted in the promotion providing fans from all over the world with everything they could possibly want.
A look back at the five Muay Thai fights that offered the greatest excitement and spectacle was taken by the largest martial arts organization in the world as the calendar turned over into a new year.

The 140-pound catchweight super fight between ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon and ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 is the highlight of this incredible lineup of Muay Thai bouts, which will take place in September 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 34.
“The Kicking Machine” emerged victorious and defeated “The Iron” by way of a unanimous decision, so delivering “The Iron” his very first defeat in the history of Muay Thai ONE Championship. The fight between Tawanchai PK Saenchai and Superbon Singha Mawynn for the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title also took place at the end of the calendar year 2023. This was not the only epic showdown that took place in 2023.
The outcome of the fight, which was a close majority decision and featured a back-and-forth battle that lasted for five rounds, allowed Tawanchai to keep his golden belt at the weight classes of 26 pounds. Superlek Kiatmoo9 opens 2024 with defense of his ONE flyweight kickboxing world title
Superlek will be the main attraction on the opening card of ONE Championship in 2024. This comes after he won all five of his fights in 2023, culminating in a historic victory over Rodtang.
The main event of ONE Fight Night 18 will take place on January 12 at the illustrious Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. He will be looking forward to the challenge that Elias Mahmoudi, the fifth-ranked contender in his division, will present to him.
