The already-stacked UFC card for the end of the year will now feature Paddy Pimblett vs. Tony Ferguson and Stephen Thompson vs. Shavkat Rakhmonov, as reported in a breaking news article.

The highly anticipated and much sought after fight card for UFC 296 is shaping up to be an absolute knockout. Paddy Pimblett and Tony Ferguson and Stephen Thompson and Shavkat Rakhmonov are two additional fights that have been added to the bill, and the announcement was made earlier today by Dana White, the CEO of the promotion.

Pimblett presently has a record of 20-3 and is undefeated in his last six fights (four of which have been in the UFC). Ferguson has a record of 25-9 and was the interim lightweight champion at one point in his career. He has victories over notable fighters including as Rafael dos Anjos, Kevin Lee, and Anthony Pettis.

Shavkat Rakhmonov is currently unbeaten with a record of 17-0 and has a perfect record in the UFC. In his most recent bout, ‘The Nomad’ won by way of a third-round submission victory over Geoff Neal.

Stephen Thompson, who once challenged for the welterweight belt twice, currently has a record of 17 wins and 6 losses. He has victories over several of MMA’s top competitors, like as Jorge Masvidal, Vicente Luque, and Robert Whittaker, among others.

The fight between Leon Edwards and Colby Covington at welterweight will be the main event of the night’s card of fights. In addition, a bout for the flyweight championship between Alexandre Pantoja and Brandon Royval has been scheduled for the event’s fight card.

The T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas will play host to UFC 296, which is slated to take place on December 16.
