Stephen Loman is not taking any short cuts for the gunfight with John Lineker and says, “I’ll train everything.”

Stephen Loman has had a successful run in ONE Championship, and he is looking forward to continuing that run against a competition that is far tougher when he competes again in the future.

The bantamweight mixed martial arts match between the representative of Team Lakay and the previous king of the category, John Lineker, will take place at ONE Fight Night 14 on Friday, September 29, and might have important ramifications for the next contender for the title.

As he waits for an opportunity to challenge Fabricio Andrade for his bantamweight title, the fighter known as “The Sniper” has becoming more agitated. But despite the fact that ‘Wonder Boy’ already has his hands full, the Filipino firecracker is ready to knock out the top-ranked challenger in order to secure his place in the fight for a shot at the global title.

He has his sights set on the 60 kg of gold, and as he does so, he intends to give the spectators inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium an absolute masterpiece. By that, it means that he is willing to stand and bang with the knockout specialist in the hopes of achieving a conclusion worthy of a highlight reel.

When asked about it by ONE Championship, ‘The Sniper’ responded by saying:

“I’ll train everything so that I can go toe-to-toe with him.”
Eliminating a fighter of Lineker’s level won’t be a walk in the park by any stretch of the imagination. Stephen Loman is the one to go to if you’re looking for someone to challenge in the bantamweight class of mixed martial arts (MMA), apart from Andrade.

At ONE: Winter Warriors II in December 2021, the 28-year-old made his debut with an impressive first-round knockout victory over an experienced Russian fighter named Yusup Saadulaev. Stephen Loman picked up where he had left off with a victory over Shoko Sato at the ONE X event held the previous year.

His most recent victory came in November of last year at ONE on Prime Video 4 against Bibiano Fernandes, who held the title of bantamweight king for a long period.

As a result, a further victory for the challenger rated second overall is of the highest significance when he competes again at ONE Fight Night 14 in Singapore. Since signing a contract with ONE Championship, he has been looking forward to the dream world championship bout that he will have if he is successful in this battle.

On Friday, September 29, fans in North America who have a current membership to Amazon Prime Video will be able to watch all of the action live in primetime in the United States.
