Max Holloway and Daniel Cormier laugh about ‘Blessed’ no-showing at AKA for wrestling training

Max Holloway and Daniel Cormier have a strong connection that dates back many years, and they engage in friendly rivalry for the title of “Daddest Man on the Planet.”This weekend’s UFC Kansas City main fight will pit Holloway vs Arnold Allen. ‘Blessed’ got down with Cormier to talk about all things combative prior to the much awaited battle. When ‘DC’ brought up the occasion where Holloway failed to show up at the American Kickboxing Academy, where Cormier practises, the two had a humorous exchange.

Max Holloway reportedly expressed interest in going to AKA to train with Daniel Cormier in wrestling, according to ‘DC’. But ‘Blessed’ never actually went.

According to Cormier

“But was the training with you good? You’re aware of our training together and our trip to California. Yes, Max is going to come and work, I said when I went on my ESPN show. In the gym, you work so hard, dog. What the heck happened?
Added him:

“I was waiting at the gym’s entrance while seated! Like, he’ll be here at any moment. What transpired, then?

Aljamain Sterling predicts Max Holloway vs. Arnold Allen

Aljamain Sterling, the UFC bantamweight champion, recently dissected the Max Holloway vs. Arnold Allen main fight at UFC Kansas City.

With a 10-fight winning streak, Allen has established himself as one of the division’s most promising competitors. He recently defeated Calvin Kattar through TKO after the latter hurt his knee during the fight. He defeated Dan Hooker in stunning fashion at UFC London last year.

Following his loss to Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 276 last year, Holloway will be attempting to avenge that loss. Volkanovski has met ‘Blessed’ three times, and he has lost each match. A victory over Allen will solidify Holloway’s status as the top contender because he still believes that he is the actual champion of the division.

“I know Allen is surging right now, but for some reason I feel like Max Holloway is going to turn him back and show that he is still THE GUY at this weight class outside of Alex Volkanovski,” Aljamain Sterling stated in a recent YouTube video previewing the fight.
