John Lineker claims that he felt “comfortable” throughout his bout with Kim Jae Woong on the canvas.

John Lineker, also known as “Hands of Stone,” is a former ONE bantamweight world champion and now the top-ranked bantamweight mixed martial arts challenger. He is renowned for his explosive strength.

The Brazilian mixed martial arts veteran, who is 33 years old, is known as one of the most powerful and aggressive punchers in ONE Championship. When you hear the name John Lineker, you immediately anticipate a high level of excitement and action on the ground. You probably don’t see Lineker getting down and dirty in a fight very often.

However, ‘Hands of Stone’ shown in his most recent battle that he is just as happy on his back on the canvas as he is knocking the lights out on the opposition.

After the conclusion of ONE Fight Night 13, Lineker gave an interview to South China Morning Post in which he discussed the fact that he will finally have the opportunity to demonstrate his grappling talents in the ONE Championship.

The book “Hands of Stone” stated:

“You know, I’m comfortable with [my] jiu-jitsu in order to stay there and [keep] the fight there [on the ground].”

At ONE Fight Night 13: Allazov vs. Grigorian, which was broadcast on Prime Video, Lineker faced off against the fearsome South Korean fighter known as “The Fighting God.” Lineker hit Kim with a clubbing left in the final moments of the fight and immediately went for the finish, which he completed with just four seconds remaining on the clock. After a back-and-forth conflict for three rounds, Lineker hurt Kim with a left in the closing moments of the fight.

The historic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok was the location of ONE Fight Night 13: Allazov vs. Grigorian, which was broadcast live on Prime Video.
