The newly unified and now undisputed ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion Prajanchai PK Saenchai is ecstatic about his incredible performance that took place over the weekend in front of his hometown fans in Bangkok.

Yesterday, on Friday evening, December 22nd, the 29-year-old boxer put on an outstanding performance at the historic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. As part of the co-main event of ONE Friday Fights 46: Tawanchai vs. Superbon, Prajanchai engaged in a battle with Joseph ‘The Hurricane’ Lasiri, an Italian-Moroccan star.

Following a brief period of feeling out, Prajanchai felled ‘The Hurricane’ with a powerful left elbow that completely put the lights out on his opponent. This came after a violent exchange that had taken place earlier.

At the very first minute and twenty-eight seconds of the race, the official conclusion was reached. Through this victory, Prajanchai was able to successfully unify the ONE strawweight Muay Thai world title, bringing his series with Lasiri to a point where they both have one victory each.

The veteran ONE Championship broadcast commentator Mitch “The Dragon” Chilson had an interview with Prajanchai after the fight. During the conversation, Prajanchai discussed his performance and assured the audience that the best was yet to come.

The Thai celebrity, who is 29 years old, claimed:

“As a Muay Thai fighter, I am extremely proud to be here tonight, demonstrating my skill, and regaining this belt,” the fighter said tonight. Being able to demonstrate my abilities on a worldwide platform makes me feel very pleased. It is my goal to continue developing myself with all of my skills and to demonstrate to everyone what I am capable of.

What’s next for Prajanchai PK Saenchai?

Prajanchai, who holds the title of undisputed ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion, also has a number of choices available to him, one of which is a rematch with Joseph Lasiri. At this point in their series, he and Lasiri are tied at a score of 1-1.

However, Prajanchai claimed following his rematch with “The Hurricane” that he wants to try something different, and he now has ONE strawweight kickboxing world champion Jonathan Di Bella in his sights. He is looking forward to the challenge this presents.

Fans from the United States and Canada will be able to watch the replay of ONE Friday Fights 46: Tawanchai vs. Superbon on the ONE Super App, the official YouTube account for ONE Championship, and other digital platforms.
