Movsar Evloev has taken advantage of the attention he has received as a result of his victory at UFC 297 to convey a message that is deeply felt regarding the crisis that is taking place in Palestine at the present time.

This rising featherweight contender has followed in the footsteps of a number of prominent mixed martial arts professionals, notably Usman Nurmagomedov, who have shown their support for Palestine on the internet.

Following his victory over Arnold Allen, the candidate who had not yet suffered a loss posted the following on message board X:

When I think about those who are suffering in Palestine today, my thoughts and emotions are with them. In the ring, I fight for victory, while they fight for their lives and for the safety of themselves and others. Upon my return to my house after the argument, I came to the realization that for them, home is nothing more than a dream. “My wounds will heal, but Palestine’s wounds will remain open until all of its inhabitants find peace and tranquility,” I said.
He went on to say:

“The wounds I have sustained will heal, but the anguish and suffering of those who have lost everything will endure for all of eternity. Please let my voice to serve as yet another reminder of those whose voices are not spoken. We are all deserving of peace.

The first fight on the main card of UFC 297 featured Movsar Evloev competing against Arnold Allen, who was rated fourth in the featherweight division.

After a back-and-forth struggle with ‘Almighty,’ the Russian was able to extend his record of not losing to 18 wins and zero losses. Not only did Evloev use his wrestling expertise to continuously attack Allen, but he also suffered a significant loss of balance in Round 2.

On the other hand, the British fighter delivered some hard strikes of his own, which put his opponent’s chin to the test. Despite this, the opponent was able to persevere and prevail by decision, winning the fight by a score of 29-28 on all three scorecards.

Evloev made an appearance in front of the media after his victory, during which he demanded a championship chance against the victor of the fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Ilia Topuria, which is scheduled to take place at UFC 298 the following month. As Evloev put it:

The goal is not to bring someone to their knees. I am 18 years old, and it is not a joke. And even if I had no finishes with a perfect record of 15-0, I would still be the best of them all… It is impossible for them to prevent me from inheriting the title. All you have to do is hand them over to me if I need to beat someone else.

In response to the question of whether he would face Volkanovski in Australia or Topuria in Spain, both of whom are natives of their respective nations, he responded as follows:

“There is no meaning to it. At home, I never got into a spat. In the United Fighting Championship, there are no events scheduled to take place in the Ingushetia region. However, it does not make a difference where I battle.
