Barry Keoghan’s BAFTA award win was recently hailed by Conor McGregor. Keoghan won the award for best supporting actor on Sunday at the Royal Festival Hall in London for his performance in The Banshees Of Inisherin.

The Eternals actor received a motivational letter from McGregor, who also wished him future Oscar victory. As stated in The Dubliner “Best wishes to @BarryKeoghan on his Bafta-winning performance in the Irish film “The Banshees of Inisherin,” starring Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson. What a tale this youngster is telling! I’m really glad for you, mate, some pup. Oscar is just around the corner!”

Kerry Condon, Keoghan’s co-star in the Martin McDonagh-helmed black comedy, also took up the prize for best supporting actress. Moreover, the film starring Colin Farrell was recognised for Outstanding British Cinema and Original Writing.
Keoghan thinks his BAFTA triumph will give the Irish film sector a big boost. A 30-year-old man spoke:

“It promotes the arts domestically, and we are an island of brilliant storytellers, performers, poets, and authors. And this greatly supports the domestic sector and inspires people to submit their scripts and pursue their goals.” using rte.ie

Conor McGregor responds to allegations of replacing TUF fighters with his associates

On the forthcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter, Conor McGregor will finally make a comeback as a coach with Michael Chandler.

From the minute he arrived at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, “The Notorious” has been in the news. Daniel Rubenstein, an MMA manager, has openly accused McGregor of utilising his power to remove competitors from TUF 31, whose final lineup has not yet been revealed.

At least three TUF competitors were replaced by McGregor, claims Rubenstein, with his own allies.

Gilbert Burns, a former UFC welterweight contender, supported the allegations against McGregor, and ‘Action Man’ Chris Curtis asserted that they were accurate.
The Irishman responded to Curtis’ remarks in a now-deleted tweet, denying all charges:

“@Actionman513 It’s untrue. There is just one guy on this show that I know, and he applied for it. And he will now face the top seed after today! I made neither a request nor a request! And I most certainly didn’t remove anyone. F*ck off, I’m just trying to rejoin the fray myself.” h/t MMA Combat
Nevertheless, Conor McGregor made it plain in his Instagram post that he was cutting some fighters.
