Chatri Sityodtong has stated that he would “in a heartbeat” participate in a fight between ONE Championship and the UFC.

Alongside the Ultimate Fighting Championship, ONE Championship is a true needle mover in the combat sports market. ONE Championship takes great satisfaction in being the largest martial arts company in the world. Consequently, when ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong talks about a prospective ONE vs. UFC mega event, it makes complete and utter logic to match the two dominant organizations in the field of martial arts against one another.

In point of fact, Sityodtong has been advocating for a long time for such an event to take place, and he predicts that it will undoubtedly wind up being the most significant event in the annals of the history of combat sports.

The Thai-Japanese entrepreneur made a recent guest appearance on Just Scrap Radio, where he stated that he would not hesitate to work with the UFC to co-promote an event with a world champion competing against another world champion.

According to Sityodtong:

“You know, if I had the chance to do a co-promotion with the UFC, I would do it in a heartbeat. A champion fighting another champion is something that has always been on my bucket list.

Who will win: Anatoly Malykhin or Jon Jones? Who will win between Israel Adesanya and Reinier de Ridder? Who will win, Christian Lee or Islam Makhachev? Put us in the list. Those are some seriously heavy hitters.

Meanwhile, you’re in luck if you haven’t caught ONE Championship yet because it will soon be available online. If you have a subscription to Amazon Prime Video, you will be able to watch virtually every live ONE event at no additional cost. All ONE Fight Night events are broadcast live and are available for free to fans in the United States and Canada who have a subscription to Amazon Prime Video.

The following one, which will take place on September 29, is called ONE Fight Night 14: Stamp vs. Ham, and it will feature an all-women’s main card in addition to three world title fights. Don’t miss out on this one since it’s going to set the bar quite high.
