Fans on social media had a lot to say about the outcome of the major clash between Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Superlek Kiatmoo9, in which the ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion defeated the ONE Muay Thai world champion.

After the three-round epic fight that was the main event of ONE Friday Fights 34 on September 22 inside the renowned Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, several spectators were divided on who they believed should have won the nod from the judges.

But the legendary Muay Thai and kickboxer Buakaw Banchamek thought that the decision was appropriate because he saw that ‘The Kicking Machine’ was performing better than ‘The Iron Man’ for the duration of the competition.

On September 30, Buakaw disclosed this information in a video that was uploaded to his official channel on YouTube and stated:

“In the most recent round, he was in cruise control. Even in the second round, he continued to exert his dominance. He behaved himself and was successful.
The 41-year-old fighter also mentioned that despite Superlek’s mistakes throughout the battle and the terrible cut he received in the first round, he was still able to touch Rodtang and even drop him, which were enough for Rodtang to get his hands raised after the fight. This was enough for Rodtang to get his hands raised after the fight.

He continued:

“During the fight, he may have made some blunders, but despite his bloodied injuries, which may have impaired his vision, he continued to land many hits. Despite this, he proceeded to land numerous hits. However, it was a successful victory for him.”

Since that fight that will go down in history as an all-time classic took place, thousands of fans of combat sports have called for an immediate rematch between the two fighters. They want to see a world title on the line, which means the stakes will be higher in the second meeting between the two.
