The UFC bantamweight class is home to a number of promising prospects, and Umar Nurmagomedov is one of them. “Young Eagle,” who is the cousin of Khabib Nurmagomedov, a former lightweight champion, now has a record of 16-0 within the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and a record of 4-0 within the organization.
The rising challenger is under the impression that his level of domination has deterred potential competitors, which has led him to vent his displeasure on the internet. During the course of this year, Nurmagomedov has only competed once, and that was against Raoni Barcelos at UFC Vegas 67 in January. He won the fight via knockout in the first round.
Since he stated earlier this week that no one was interested in competing against him, he has now called out Deiveson Figueiredo, who was the former champion of the flyweight division. X was recently visited by the Dagestani, who wrote the following:

The fight between “Young Eagle” and Cory Sandhagen was supposed to take place on August 5, 2023, as the main event of the UFC Nashville event. On the other hand, Nurmagomedov had to undergo surgery because he had already sustained a significant shoulder injury one month before their fight.
Due to the fact that he has made a full recovery, the rising contender has voiced his desire to return to the octagon; however, he has not yet been paired up with an opponent.

Recently, Javier Mendez, the head coach of American Kickboxing Academy (AKA), wrote a touching homage about the relationship that exists between the three cousins.
Mendez, who welcomed the Nurmagomedovs and Makachev into AKA about a decade ago, has a close friendship with several members of the team that Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov founded. Makachev was also a part of the team.
A video of ‘The Eagle’ training with his relatives was just uploaded on Instagram by ‘Coach Jav,’ who also posted the following accompanying caption:

In my experience as a coach, I have never witnessed this at any of the other individuals that I have trained who were related to me by blood.
