WATCH: Is this man the riskiest kickboxer in history? The route of destruction taken by Chingiz Allazov in ONE

Published:

Chingiz Allazov was defeated by a split decision in his ONE Championship debut in 2021, but he has since turned things around and is on his way to establishing himself as one of the most dangerous kickboxers in the game.

Since losing his first fight in the promotion to Enriko Kehl by a split decision, ‘Chinga’ has racked up four consecutive victories, all of which have come in dominant and stunning ways. All of his victories have come since his first fight in the promotion.

ONE Championship has just published a compilation of all of Chingiz Allazov’s triumphs on YouTube. The video begins with his most recent victory, which is perhaps his most significant victory to date because it was over Thai superstar Superbon Singha Mawynn.

In January of 2018, the Azerbaijani-Belarusian boxer faced off against Superbon and decisively defeated him to win the ONE featherweight kickboxing world championship. Superbon was knocked out in the second round of the bout.

Chingiz Allazov delivered good strikes one after another from every angle, and Superbon simply did not have an adequate response to them consistently. At the 1:03 mark of the second round, the 29-year-old caught Superbon with a solid straight right to the head, which sent the Thai behemoth instantaneously sliding to the mat in defeat. This was the moment that Superbon’s career came to an end.

The video also includes highlights from Chingiz Allazov’s successful run in the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix. These highlights include his devastating knockout victories in the first round over Samy Sana and Jo Nattawut, as well as his dominant tearing down of Thai Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong in the final to be crowned champion by unanimous decision.

Have a look at the video compilation that is provided below:

This week, Chingiz Allazov will face Marat Grigorian of Armenia, an old adversary and current holder of the ONE featherweight kickboxing world title. This will be Allazov’s maiden defense of his title. The main event of ONE Fight Night 13, which was broadcast on Prime Video on August 4 from the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok and featured two of the sport’s most accomplished competitors, took place on August 4.

After two previous encounters outside of ONE Championship a decade ago, this will be the third time that these two will square off against one another.

Their first fight, which took place in April 2013, was declared a draw, but in their second confrontation, which took place in December of the same year, the native of Talin, Armenia, emerged victorious by unanimous decision.

Marat Grigorian, who is 32 years old, is planning to fight Allazov in the forthcoming fight for the featherweight kickboxing gold while simultaneously trying to maintain his lead over Allazov in their head-to-head matchup.

Prime Video users in North America have the opportunity to watch ONE Fight Night 13 live and for no additional cost.
