Mark Hunt, a former heavyweight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, has disclosed that he is now in discussions with Jake Paul’s team on the possibility of a boxing matchup.
In 2018, Hunt decided to end his career in mixed martial arts (MMA) after suffering a loss to Justin Willis via unanimous decision. As a result of his numerous walk-off knockouts, he is widely considered to be one of the most popular heavyweights in the history of the sport, despite the fact that he left the octagon with a record of 13 defeats and 14 victories.
Despite the fact that he wouldn’t compete for another mixed martial arts organization after his time with the UFC, he has made two appearances in the boxing ring since the year 2020. The first opponent he faced was Paul Gallen, a former rugby league player, and he was defeated by him on points. Soon after, in 2022, he faced Sonny Bill Williams. The fight was won by “The Super Samoan” with a technical knockout in the fourth round.
The 49-year-old boxer is eager to schedule his next fight, and there have been rumors that he will be returning to the squared circle. Jake Paul is a possible opponent for him in this fight.
During a recent appearance on the podcast From The Stands, Hunt expressed his eagerness to confront “The Problem Child,” saying that he is more than eager to do so:
Our conversation with their camp has revealed that they are interested in… Without a doubt, I would like to give him a good punch to the teeth. As of late, we have been discussing it. Observe how it functions for us. As far as his mental state is concerned, he is a little bit insane. My attraction to him stems from the fact that I am, for the most part, alike.

Mike Perry recently praised Jake Paul for his strength as a boxer, despite the fact that he had been clamoring for a battle against Jake Paul for quite some time.
One of the questions that was posed to ‘Platinum’ during his recent visit on Demtrious Johnson’s YouTube channel was regarding the Paul brothers and who he believed to be the more skilled fighter.
Perry asserted unequivocally that Jake was the one responsible, and he continued by explaining that this was because Jake was ready to stand and trade with his rivals. It was him who said:
As for Jake Paul, I believe that he is a little bit more capable than his brother. He is more powerful than you. Although he is not as quick as other boxers, he is more eager to engage in a fight. I think that is a great amazing battle, and I don’t see why they are attempting to duck or dodge the blow there. It is due to the fact that they are unable to earn a knockout in that fight. Jake had previously hit me with some really good shots.
