Reug Reug is thrilled to perhaps encounter a ‘decent guy’ For the heavyweight championship, Anatoly Malykhin.

ONE Championship heavyweight superstar Oumar ‘Reug Reug’ Kane is coming off an amazing victory that took place last Friday at ONE Fight Night 13 against previously unbeaten Brazilian star Marcus ‘Buchecha’ Almeida.

“Reug Reug” entered the fight as a major underdog to compete against “Buchecha,” who was not just an unbeaten rising heavyweight star but also a 17-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion. ‘Buchecha’ was the opponent for this fight.

Kane, the Senegalese wrestling sensation, was able to nullify his esteemed opponent’s grappling once the two fighters were on the ground. This came as a complete surprise to everyone watching the match. Kane won the standing battle against Almeida.

Kane discussed his next bout with the South China Morning Post during an interview following the conclusion of the fight. Now, he has his sights set on a bout against ‘Sladkiy’ Anatoly Malykhin, the current holder of the ONE heavyweight and light heavyweight world championships.

It was said by ‘Reug Reug,’

“Oh, right. I see. He has my back as a supporter. You should know that I am prepared. It is ready to go. He helped to raise me up. It’s all good. He is a decent human being. You should know that I am prepared to battle that guy.

In the ONE Championship, Malykhin has never been defeated, and he has faced little opposition in the Circle. He has been victorious over some of the most skilled competitors that ONE Championship has to offer, including the Iranian wonder Amir Aliakbari, the previous ONE light heavyweight world champion Reinier ‘The Dutch Knight’ De Ridder, and most recently, the former heavyweight king Arjan ‘Singh’ Bhullar. He is currently ranked number one in the heavyweight division.

If ‘Reug Reug’ is successful in luring ‘Sladkiy’ into a battle, the outcome will undoubtedly provide the audience with a memorable and exciting opportunity.

The historic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok was the location of ONE Fight Night 13: Allazov vs. Grigorian, which was broadcast live on Prime Video. Fans in the United States and Canada who subscribe to Amazon Prime Video can see a free replay of all the action that took place throughout the event.
