Prior to his comeback battle, Sage Northcutt is prepared completely.

Sage Northcutt is making sure to do everything possible to prepare for ONE Fight Night 10 on May 5 as he tries to make a comeback after a four-year hiatus.

After establishing himself as a possible future star in the US, “Super” Sage made his eagerly awaited debut inside the Circle in 2019.Northcutt’s debut was drastically cut short when Cosmo Alexandre knocked him down in less than 30 seconds. Sage had a difficult time dealing with that defeat alone, but he also sustained injuries in the fight that would take him a long time to heal from.

After four years, Sage is finally prepared to compete once more under the ONE banner as he makes his return to take on Ahmed Mujtaba. Add a match with COVID-19 on top.

Sage’s homecoming celebration in Colorado is about to be ruined by his opponent, who has been building his name in ONE Championship while Northcutt has been away.

Ahmed Mujtaba is in a very different position than his opponent since he has won consecutive first-round bouts, and he is gaining momentum while Sage is compelled to watch from the sidelines.

Sage Northcutt recently spoke with The MMA Superfan on YouTube and described his preparations and strategy for the comeback:

“I consider strength, speed, and, as you know, I’ve been working on a lot of various things. Therefore, it should be clear that I’m not the kind of person to guess how a fight will turn out. But I’m working to ensure that every aspect of my strategy, whether it be standup, the ground game, or anything else, is as accurate as possible.
