Belal Muhammad, the top contender at welterweight in the UFC, has shared a unique poster on social media that appears to draw inspiration from Grand Theft Auto.
The recent altercation between Covington and Anik, which happened following UFC 286 appears to be the poster’s main focus. Covington, Anik, and “Remember the Name” are portrayed in the poster as characters in a bloody and chaotic video game setting. The UFC’s president, Dana White, has declared that Colby Covington will go up against Leon Edwards for the welterweight championship next. After a highly contested match in which Edwards defeated Kamaru Usman, “Chaos” has made it clear that he wants to challenge Edwards for the title.

The situation, however, appears to have taken a bad turn when Covington threatened Jon Anik, who expressed sympathy for Belal Muhammad. The current rivalry between the no. 2-ranked welterweight and Belal Muhammad, which has been characterised by insults and trash talk on social media as both competitors aim to be the front-runners for the 170-pound championship race, is said to be the cause of Covington’s threatening behaviour towards Anik.

Belal Muhammad intends to train with Khabib Nurmagomedov in Dagestan

Belal Muhammad, the top-ranked welterweight, has made suggestions that he would head to Dagestan to train with Khabib Nurmagomedov, a legendary former mixed martial artist who is now a coach. Since his retirement in October 2020, Nurmagomedov has been actively involved in teaching new fighters.

Khabib Nurmagomedov was a member of the 34-year-old’s training staff and corner squad for Muhammad’s most recent contest against Sean Brady at UFC 280 in October 2022. He defeated Brady via TKO in the second round to win the welterweight contest. Muhammad scored a major victory because Brady had never lost in mixed martial arts before to this fight.

Belal Muhammad recently disclosed during an Instagram Live session that once his upcoming bout is finalized, he plans to train with Khabib Nurmagomedov once more. In a video posted by the “@roganjoshmma” Twitter account, Muhammad is questioned about his relationship with Nurmagomedov. Muhammad gave a positive response and stated that he intended to work out with the retired MMA legend once more in the future. He stated:

“I do, yes. I am speaking with him. I’m curious about his thoughts on them because we’ve almost gotten into fights in the past. Inshallah, we’ll be in Dagestan; as soon as a fight starts, get anything.
