m Harrison asserts that Rodtang was attempting to avoid a conflict with Superlek as much as possible.

‘Hitman’ Liam Harrison, a former challenger for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title, claims that ‘The Iron Man’ Rodtang Jitmuangnon, the reigning ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion, has done everything in his power to avoid a fight with his Thai rival Superlek Kiatmoo9, the ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion.

However, Harrison is relieved that the time has finally come for the two to finally throw down and fight when, just a few months ago, there was considerable doubt as to whether or not these two would ever meet in the ring within our lifetimes. Harrison is glad that the time has finally come for the two to finally throw down and fight.

Harrison shared with podcasters and fans his observation that Rodtang was attempting to avoid Superlek by calling out Jonathan Haggerty during his live appearance on Twitch on Summit1G at ONE Fight Night 10 in May of last year. Harrison was streaming the event on Summit1G.

“Hitman” stated that:

“The opponent, Jonathan Haggerty, who he defeated twice to win his belt has moved up in weight, and he recently knocked out the champion in that weight class. Rodtang then makes a U-turn and says, “I don’t want to defend against Superlek; I want to move up.” I’ve already beaten him twice, and I want to beat him a third time.'”

Rodtang and Superlek are going to engage in a leather match quite soon, which is excellent news for those of us who are aficionados of the “art of eight limbs.”

In the main event of ONE Friday Fights 34, ‘The Iron Man’ Rodtang Jitmuangnon, who holds the title of ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion, will defend his title against Superlek Kiatmoo9, who has the title of ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion.

Fans in the United States and Canada can watch the event live on the ONE Super App or on the official YouTube channel for ONE Championship. The event will take place live on Friday, September 22, at prime time in Asia at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
