Fabricio Andrade is not only aiming to defeat Jonathan Haggerty, but he is also going for a finale that will bring about the end of the world.

In a mega battle for the vacant ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title, the ONE bantamweight world champion will face Haggerty, the reigning ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion, in what should be a contender for battle of the Year. Haggerty is the current ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion.

At ONE Fight Night 15, which will take place on October 6, the historic champion versus champion matchup will take place.

Andrade stated that his strategy against the British star is straightforward and that he will be looking for the knockout in an interview with ONE Championship.

Andrade has stated that

I’m going to go out there as aggressive as I always am and try to land a knockout blow.
“Wonder Boy” has never been one to mince his words, and he has never failed to follow up any of the trash talking he has done during his bouts.

Andrade has an undefeated record of 6-0 in his ONE Championship competition, with five of his total wins coming by way of knockout or submission. He has one match that ended in a no-contest.

His most recent victory came in February of this year when he defeated fellow Brazilian star John Lineker via technical knockout in the fourth round of their fight for the unclaimed ONE bantamweight world title at ONE Fight Night 7 in Bangkok.

Andrade, on the other hand, will be fighting in a ring that is relatively familiar to him at ONE Fight Night 15 against an opponent who is considered by many to be one of the very greatest strikers in the world.

Haggerty is a former ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion, and the manner in which he won his second world title by defeating the illustrious Nong-O Hama will live on in the illustrious annals of Muay Thai for all time.

“The General” put on a show and knocked Nong-O out three times in the first round of their fight for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title at ONE Fight Night 9 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The ONE Fight Night 15 program, including the world title fight between Andrade and Haggerty, is streamed live and for free to all Prime Video customers in North America. The stream is also available internationally.
