Jeremy Miado observes that Mansur Malachiev frequently relies on grappling as his primary offensive strategy.

Jeremy Miado, a Filipino strawweight fighter, is preparing for the battle that is planned to take place one month from now in every possible way. This requires him to not only hone his talents, but also to devote a lot of attention to carefully analyzing the tendencies and strengths of his opponent.

On June 9 at the illustrious Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, ‘The Jaguar’ will be featured at ONE Fight Night 11, which will be broadcast on Prime Video. As part of a 10-fight card, he will square off against Russian newcomer Mansur Malachiev, who competes in the ONE Championship in the strawweight division.

One of the things that Jeremy Miado has observed about Mansur Malachiev before to the competition is that he has a tendency to rely on his grappling. This is not at all surprising given that the Universal Fighters affiliate has been a wrestler for their entire lives.

Because of this, Jeremy Miado is taking the necessary precautions to ensure that he is well-prepared for the grappling match that he will have with Malachiev.

During an interview, a member of Marrok Force gave the following information with ONE Championship:

After watching his prior fights, I can say that he puts a significant amount of emphasis on his takedowns and submissions as his primary strengths.

Jeremy Miado currently holds a winning streak of four bouts, which he will attempt to add to at ONE Fight Night 11 in the hopes of extending it.

His most recent bout took place in October 2022, and it was against an Australian-Thai fighter named Danial Williams. He won the bout via third-round technical knockout (punches), which was the decisive factor. The victory brought ‘The Jaguar’ one step closer to breaking into the top five of the rankings and into contention for a title chance at some point in the foreseeable future.

Miado, who is 30 years old, views his bout with Malachiev as a pivotal moment in his mixed martial arts career since a defeat might easily put him in a position where he would have to start over.

ONE Fight Night 11 is the sixth Amazon show of the year for ONE Championship, and it will be streamed live and for free to fans in North America who have an active Prime Video subscription. ONE Fight Night 11 takes place on Saturday, November 3rd.
