Lerone Murphy, a featherweight fighter in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, will not be competing against Dan Ige at UFC Vegas 86.
The unbeaten Englishman was scheduled to co-main his first Ultimate Fighting Championship event at the Apex facility in Las Vegas; however, he was forced to withdraw from the fight due to an injury that has not been disclosed.
In a post that he made on X (which was formerly known as Twitter), Murphy made a reference to his injuries and stated that he would not be broken by the awful news. Tweeted by him:
In my shoes, you wouldn’t be able to walk even a yard. Most people would break, but I am unbreakable; I am not one of them.

The post was responded to by Dan Ige, who expressed his hope that his now-former adversary would make a speedy recovery.

Andre Fili is reportedly being considered for the role of Murphy’s replacement, as a result of the latter’s decision to withdraw from the competition. The Brazilian fighter Lucas Almeida was knocked out in the first round of the fight that ‘Touchy’ recently won at UFC 296, which was a significant triumph for him.
The information was initially reported on X by Nolan King, a reporter for MMA Junkie, who wrote:
In light of the fact that Lerone Murphy is not available, Andre Fili and Dan Ige are scheduled to fight on February 10 at #UFCVegas86 in Las Vegas, according to several sources. Despite the fact that the mixed martial arts company has not yet confirmed the probable new fight that will take place at UFC Vegas 86, the fight is already being considered a contender for Fight of the Night.
Joe Pyfer breaks down UFC Vegas 86 bout against Jack Hermansson
Joe Pyfer, a rising contender in the middleweight division, is scheduled to face Jack Hermansson at UFC Vegas 86 in February. This fight is expected to be the most challenging of Pyfer’s career to this point.
On February 10, 2024, the event will take place at the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas, and the two will be the main attractions when they compete. As a result of Hermansson’s present position as the tenth best fighter in the 185-pound division, Pyfer will be facing his first opponent from the top ten in the division.
‘Bodybagz’ gave MiddleEasy an interview in which he discussed his thoughts on the fight that will take place the following month, which will be against ‘The Joker’. Pyfer claims that despite the fact that he has a favorable impression of Hermansson as a person, he nevertheless anticipates passing through him. It was him who said:
It makes no difference to me what his phone number is. It’s a tough guy, he’s 35 years old, he’s 10-6 in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, and I like him. In my opinion, he is not a piece of crap; he is a wonderful guy. I don’t have any nerves; I just realize that I’m pushing myself, and it’s going to be a full-on assault the whole way through. The greater the job possibility, the greater the amount of work that needs to be done… I believe that my skills are superior to his.
