In his knockout victory over Anthony Njokuani, Regian Eersel displayed his ruthless side.

By knocking out Anthony Njokuani, Regian Eersel demonstrated what happens to a fighter when he reaches his potential.

After earning a victory by unanimous decision in his professional debut in February 2019, Eersel had high hopes of continuing his ascent up the rankings and gaining momentum. The fight between ‘The Immortal’ and Njokuani didn’t get off to a good start for the boxer who was born in Suriname, who was matched up against Njokuani.

Eersel made a comeback with a second-round knockout, which led to an opportunity at the lightweight kickboxing world title. Earlier in the fight, Eersel had been dropped and thrown off balance. The clips of the fight versus Njokuani were just reposted by ONE Championship with the following caption:

“Better stay on good terms with ‘The Immortal,'” On June 9, at ONE Fight Night 11 that will be broadcast on Prime Video, can the two-sport king be able to defend his ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Title against Dmitry Menshikov? @koolhydraat”

Since he began competing for ONE Championship, Muay Thai and kickboxing fighter Regian Eersel has compiled a perfect record of nine wins and zero losses. Eersel became the ONE lightweight Muay Thai world champion after winning seven kickboxing battles before going on to defeat Sinsamut Klinmee in back-to-back Muay Thai bouts and claiming the title. On June 9, he will attempt to defend his world title for the second time.

Dmitry Menshikov, a rookie to the promotional ranks, will be Eersel’s next opponent. The Russian boxer has a record of 27-2 overall with 19 knockouts or technical knockouts and is considered a knockout artist. Despite the fact that Menshikov will be the underdog versus ‘The Immortal,’ he intends to seize control of the division by bringing an end to the remarkable record of his opponent.

The bout between Regian Eersel and Dmitry Menshikov will be the main event of ONE Fight Night 11: Eersel vs. Menshikov, which will stream live on Prime Video and take place at the illustrious Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Prime Video subscribers in North America are eligible to view the event in real-time and at no additional cost.
