In advance of the UFC Vegas 85 fight, Renato Moicano voiced his outspoken criticism of the mediocre Fight Night events, saying, “Nobody likes the Apex.”

Renato Moicano is now scheduled to make his return to the octagon this coming weekend, when he will compete against Drew Dober at UFC Fight Night 235, which will take place at the UFC Apex. Moicano has been dormant for the all of the year 2023. A recent revelation made by the lightweight rated thirteenth in the world indicated that he does not like the location or the Fight Night events.

Moicano revealed the following while speaking with Nolan King of MMA Junkie:

A fight night is about to begin. The fact that nobody cares about Fight Nights is the reason why it doesn’t matter whether it’s a co-main event, the main event, or the preliminary fights; who gives a f**k, bro? “Hey, Dana White, I would prefer to be on UFC 299, but I don’t make the rules,” she said. “It’s just a cheap way to put the Ultimate Fighting Championship on ESPN.” By the third of February, I will be able to defeat Drew Dober, who is an employee. There is no difference whether it is in the Apex or not.
He went on to say:

The Apex is not well liked by anyone, my brother, which is another problem. Any person in the world can be asked about it. Both the Apex and the warriors are detested by the fans, and I have a strong suspicion that they do not enjoy the Apex itself. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) currently boasts a large number of fighters. If you ask me if I would be happy to fight in the Apex, I would say that I would be delighted to fight in the Apex. They have to make so many fights that it makes sense. No way, brother, there is no way.”

With the victory against Brad Riddell by first-round submission at UFC 281, which took place in November 2022, Moicano will be competing against Dober for the first time since then. In spite of the fact that he was scheduled to compete against Arman Tsarukyan at UFC on ESPN 45, he was forced to withdraw from the fight due to an injury.

Renato Moicano claims that “UFC 300 is not that great”

A total of eleven fights have already been announced for the next UFC 300 event, which has begun to take form. It was recently disclosed by Renato Moicano that he is of the opinion that the card is deficient. During an interview with Ariel Helwani of The MMA Hour, the lightweight fighter who is rated thirteenth stated:

I will be completely honest with you: as a fan and as a YouTuber, I do not think that UFC 300 is all that fantastic. I are going to tell you the truth. Not very impressive at all. It is a good thing. As I mentioned earlier, the only fights that I am interested in watching are the ones between Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway, Calvin Kattar and Aljamain Sterling, Charles Oliviera and Arman Tsarukyan, Bobby Green and Jim Miller. In my own personal opinion.”

The UFC 300 card does not have a main event, despite the fact that it has been subjected to a great deal of criticism. As an additional point of interest, there are already nine champions, either currently or formerly, competing on the card.
