The manner in which Josh Emmett handled himself in the aftermath of the conclusion of their battle is something that Bryce Mitchell holds in high regard.
During their fight at UFC 296, Emmett knocked out Mitchell with an overhand right that eventually went viral. The knockout occurred little under two minutes into the fight. Many people were worried about Mitchell because of the unpredictable nature of the knockout, the ensuing seizure, and the incapacity of his body as a whole to stand in the cage after the knockout.

It’s true that I still have a lot of work to do, but that’s what I’m working on right now. However, I wanted to make sure that you all are aware of how content I am with Josh Emmett. Because immediately after he knocked me out, he had the opportunity to follow up with the hammerfist, which most likely would have resulted in my ultimate demise.”Not even a single thing was done to follow up with him. As soon as he finished his knockout, he strolled away, content with his victory. Thank you so much for being so kind. It is something that I will never forget. As a whole, I adore that group. I cannot express how much I adore each and every member of the Alpha Male crew. “Josh, I am grateful that you did not hit me additional.”
