The internet is currently circulating a video that shows Shavkat Rakhmonov, a contender for the welterweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, working under the direction of Khabib Nurmagomedov a few years ago.
An old video of ‘Nomad’ working out with Nurmagomedov was recently uploaded to the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) page known as ‘Spinnin Backfist’ on X. ‘The Eagle’ was shown in the video demonstrating his mastery of combining wrestling and striking methods in a fluid manner.

During Rakhmonov’s first year of mixed martial arts competition, the late Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, who was the father of the UFC Hall of Famer, was also there in his corner. Immediately after Nurmagomedov’s victory, Rakhmonov can be seen embracing him in a video that is thought to have been taken in 2014.
