Fabricio Andrade, according to Danial Williams, should be “really enjoying” training camp in preparation for his fight against Jonathan Haggerty.

Fabricio Andrade, the reigning champion of the ONE bantamweight division in mixed martial arts, and Jonathan Haggerty, the reigning champion of the ONE bantamweight division in muay thai, are almost ready to square off in a fight for the vacant ONE bantamweight kickboxing title.

Even though the fight has been postponed by almost a month compared to when it was first scheduled to take place, the hype around it has only increased.

This confrontation was supposed to take place on Friday, October 6, during ONE Fight Night 15, but it was moved to Friday, November 3, due to scheduling conflicts. The bout is now the featured attraction on the ONE Fight Night 16 program, which takes place in the revered Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Danial Williams, a contender at the strawweight division and a two-time world title challenger, is one of the combatants who is looking forward to watching this match.

‘Mini T’ recently discussed the forthcoming matchup between premier strikers in an interview with Sportskeeda MMA. In the conversation, he provided his thoughts on the matchup. He also brought up the fact that Andrade is spending the most of his time these days in training camp.

Williams believes that the Brazilian superstar, who is known to be a feared knockout finisher and lethal striker, is probably enjoying his preparation for the fight because he only has to focus on striking and does not have to deal with any grappling-related drills. The superstar is known to be a lethal striker.

Williams has stated that

“Absolutely, without a doubt, Andrade because, you know, I’m sure his training routine includes a lot of grappling as well. At this point, he would be concentrating solely on striking. Therefore, I believe that he is currently taking this opportunity to his full advantage because it is only a three-minute round as opposed to a five-minute round.
“Wonder Boy” has set his sights on joining the elite company of athletes who have won the world championships in two different sports. He would want to follow in the footsteps of “Stamp Fairtex” and “Sam-A Gaiyanghadao,” who were the first to accomplish this remarkable feat. However, it will not be a simple task because ‘The General’ is also a skilled athlete who has already won two world titles while competing for ONE Championship.

Andrade will bring his perfect record from the ONE Championship, which includes six victories and four finishes, to this exciting fiesta.

This coming Friday, November 3, active subscribers of Amazon Prime Video in North America will be able to watch ONE Fight Night 16 live and for free during the primetime hours of the United States.
