Sage Northcutt breaks down his regular post-fight protocol, which consists of the 5Fs.

Published:

At ONE Fight Night 10, Sage Northcutt demonstrated that a lot has changed in the MMA world in the past four years, but that many aspects of the sport have remained the same. Northcutt made his return to the Circle after an absence of four years.

When he was finally able to make his return to competition after being sidelined for a lengthy period of time due to injuries, surgery, and fights against Covid-19, ‘Super’ Sage was faced with a lot of questions that needed to be answered.

Sage Northcutt demonstrated that he has improved as a martial artist while away from the public eye by competing in the first event held in the United States by ONE Championship. The event took place at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado, which was packed to capacity with an enthusiastic audience.

After submitting Ahmed Mujtaba in the first round, there is no question that Northcutt is back and better than ever. There is no competition for him.

Even more remarkable is the fact that his character and demeanor have not evolved in the slightest.

Sage Northcutt, as most people remember him, has remained in the same place over the course of these past four years. He is remembered for his animated, upbeat, and unassuming demeanor.

In an interview with Spinnin Backfist, in which he reflected on the battle, he spoke about how he celebrated the win, naming the five Fs that are top priority for him after each fight. He also spoke about how he prepared for the next fight.

‘Super’ Sage said:

“After every bout, I am usually rewarded with some delicious food. Spend time with my family and some of my close friends, as well as get the chance to talk to some of my fans and watch some of the fights. That is similar to the regimen I follow after a battle.
