Demetrious Johnson is amped up for the megafight between Rodtang and Superlek: “It’s going to be completely out of control”

The “Mecca of Muay Thai,” Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, will play host to ONE Friday Fights 34, which will be headlined by the epic battle between ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon and ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9.

The world of combat sports has been rocked by the highly anticipated and long-awaited bout between two of Thailand’s most talented sportsmen. Several well-known figures have been heard to express their enthusiasm for the upcoming fight between Rodtang and Superlek for the world title.

On the list appears to be Demetrious Johnson, the current holder of the ONE Flyweight World Championship. Once upon a time, “The Mighty Mouse” competed against Rodtang in a unique super-fight with a unique set of rules, and in the second round, Rodtang strangled “The Iron Man” and put him to sleep. In the pilot episode of his podcast, MightyCast, the mixed martial arts legend, who is 37 years old, heaped accolades on the Thai superstar.

According to Johnson:

“You’ve got Rodtang, and he’s got some of the bangers that are on the way. You all are familiar with Rodtang, right? Do yourself a favor and search for Rodtang on YouTube. You won’t regret it. You shouldn’t have any worries about that.”
In addition, the champion of the ONE Flyweight World Grand Prix couldn’t contain his excitement for the most recent defense of Rodtang’s world title against Superlek, and he urged everyone to see this megafight:

“You have Rodtang going up against Superlek. There will finally be a bout between two Thai boxers who are both multiple-time world champions. Both of these competitors come from Thailand. Make a note of it in your calendar as a favor to yourself. It’s going to be completely out of control.

In the forthcoming bout, Rodtang will be bringing his unblemished record of 14-0 in Muay Thai and kickboxing under the world’s top martial arts organization, while Superlek will be flexing his card of 11 victories and one defeat in Muay Thai and kickboxing. Both fighters will be competing under the World Muay Thai and Kickboxing Association.

The ONE Friday Fights are uploaded on ONE Championship’s YouTube account on a weekly basis.
