There aren’t too many opportunities for a boxer to take a breather even when everything is going according to plan. It’s fight after training camp after training camp after fight after training camp, with maybe a week or two off in the middle for rest and rehabilitation.
Following his submission victory over Tucker Lutz in the second round back in March, Daniel Pineda found himself in this mindset. It was the Texan’s first fight since June of 2021, he earned a huge win, a big finish, and a big bonus check for Performance of the Night, and he got his chance to settle in and arrange his daughter’s third birthday party after the fight.

Pineda stated, “That’s how I’ve always been,” referring to their personality. “I want to keep myself occupied. Each and every three to four months, gents. Let’s go.”
Let’s go, indeed. “The Pit” has 45 professional fights over the course of his 15-year career to back up his claims, and even though the 37-year-old is getting closer and closer to the big 4-0, he is not backing down from his ambition to keep putting on the gloves and going to brawl. “The Pit” has a career that spans 15 years and has 45 professional fights.

Who does? We both laugh, and yes, being on a diet for fifteen years is a long time; yet, Pineda is feeling perfectly good, even as an elder gentleman of the featherweight category.
“I’m 37, but honestly, I feel like I’m in my early thirties, late twenties,” he added. “I feel like I’m in my early thirties, late twenties.” “I feel good, I feel healthy.”

Pineda responded, “Oh yeah, for sure, especially if you get the outcome you want,” to the question. “I did this last battle at home because fighting in front of your family and all your friends is where you find the most delight. But if I had lost, I would have been on the other side when you hit your lows; it would have been one of the lowest feelings. If I had won, though, I would have been on the same side as you. So make the most of the opportunities that come your way, retain a positive attitude, and keep moving forward.

Pineda is having a good time, especially considering that he finally got the kind of significant battle that he sought when he faced Caceres. It is a co-main event that takes place against a “name,” and it has the ability to award bonuses. In Las Vegas, this is not a terrible way to spend a Saturday.

“I heard that you desire a fight about money? Pineda responded with, “Okay, well there you go.” “It’s a nice exam, and it’s a decent guy. Because he was around, I decided to inquire about it, and I was granted access to it. It’s going to be a tough battle. This is an old-school battle. The combatants in this bout have seen and done it all in their respective fields. I can hardly wait!”

But what would all of this mean for his daughter’s birthday on Monday, which is a much more significant question?
