‘Mini T’ is a superstar in the strawweight division and a wonder in many sports. When he’s in the middle of a major confrontation, Danial Williams is ready for it. And his upcoming bout is currently the most important thing that can possibly happen.
Williams, a ferocious Australian-Thai striker, is scheduled to compete against Jonathan Di Bella, the current world champion in the strawweight division of kickboxing for ONE. At stake is the coveted golden strap. Tawanchai and Superbon will go head to head on ONE Fight Night 15, which will be broadcast on Prime Video.
On Friday, October 6, the event will be presented in real time through live transmission from the illustrious Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Williams recently gave an interview to ONE Championship, during which he reaffirmed that he is entirely focused on the task at hand, and that he is convinced that he can get the job done versus Di Bella.
The ‘Mini T’ rapper, who is now 30 years old, said:
“I’ve been waiting for a chance like this. The following eight weeks are going to be absolutely packed with [training] activities. Absolutely no sidetracks! After 20 years of training in martial arts, all I need to do is focus on becoming the greatest version of myself that I can be.
Williams is a phenomenal athlete who has participated in a wide variety of sports, including Muay Thai, kickboxing, and even mixed martial arts under the banner of ONE Championship. However, he was defeated by the incumbent ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion ‘The Iron Man’ Rodtang Jitmuangnon and, more recently, by the ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9. Both of these fights were considered to be the most important of his career.
Having said that, ‘Mini T’ does not want to squander this opportunity against Di Bella, which is why he is pulling out all the stops in training camp to ensure that he comes completely prepared for the match.
