Conor McGregor has managed to stir up conversation in the MMA community once more.
Conor McGregor, a former UFC champion, posted a picture of himself on Twitter with the caption: “Conor McGregor’s latest post has got the MMA world talking,” with many fans speculating that the Irishman is under the influence of narcotics. View a few of the Twitter comments below:
Since July 2021, “The Notorious” has not competed in the octagon because to a catastrophic leg injury he sustained during his trilogy match versus Dustin Poirier. But McGregor will make his UFC comeback against Michael Chandler later this year following a protracted absence.
The fight’s date has not yet been decided upon. Conor McGregor hasn’t yet signed up for USADA’s testing pool, too. Before participating in the octagon, the Irishman must remain in the pool for at least six months.
Conor McGregor claims he is “too slick” for Michael Chandler
Conor McGregor will meet Michael Chandler when he returns to the UFC later this year, as was previously reported. Despite having won just one of his previous four fights, McGregor is confident going into the fight and thinks he is “too slick” for “Iron.”
McGregor recently spoke with Robbie Fox on My Mom’s Basement and covered a wide range of issues, including his impending matchup with Chandler. The former two-division champion vowed to demonstrate how his skills vary from those of the former Bellator champion:
I’m simply too slick for Chandler. I’m simply too good for him. He hasn’t fought someone comparable to me. However, I have battled someone similar to him. I believe it to be the mixed martial arts style in general. a wrestler of that height. I suppose it resembles MMA somewhat. It’s not strange in any way. I’ve been in battle with them [fighters] for a very long time. Now, it will be my responsibility to demonstrate the disparity in our skill levels on fight night.
