According to Anatoly Malykhin, Chingiz Allazov is the best fighter in terms of his weight class and is “on a whole different level.”

As a result of his time spent competing in ONE Championship, Anatoly Malykhin has earned the title of world champion in two different weight classes.

The unbeaten Russian has only competed in five bouts under the ONE Championship banner, but he has already won three world championships, each of which was a highlight reel performance.

The Russian wrecking machine is currently the undisputed champion in both the light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions after converting his interim heavyweight title into the entire world championship in his most recent bout.

Malykhin remained cage-side during the earlier portion of this year’s ONE Fight Night 6 event, not to scout an opponent but rather to observe the emergence of greatness.

Chingiz Allazov delivered the best performance of his professional career in the main event to win the ONE featherweight kickboxing world championship.

He defeated the champion, Superbon Singha Mawynn, in the second round, putting an end to the fight and removing him from the number one slot in the pound-for-pound rankings.

In the first defense of his title, which will take place on August 4 at ONE Fight Night 13 in Bangkok, Thailand, Allazov will make his return to the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium.

The champion plans to continue the best run of his career when he faces Marat Grigorian in the hope of exacting revenge on his previous opponent after a ten-year wait for the opportunity to do so.

In an interview with ONE Championship conducted prior to the fight, Anatoly Malykhin provided a preview of the bout by declaring that Allazov is simply too excellent for the other featherweights at this time. Malykhin’s comments were made in reference to the upcoming competition.

In his words:

“In comparison to other boxers, I believe Chingiz is on an entirely other level. Right now, according to the global rankings, he is the best boxer in the world regardless of weight class.
When he returns on August 4 to face Grigorian, an athlete with whom he has a bit of a history, “Chinga” will be looking to demonstrate that exact point. Grigorian is one of his rivals.

This coming Friday, August 4, active Amazon Prime Video users in North America will be able to watch ONE Fight Night 13 live and for free throughout the primetime hours in the United States.
