17-time Marcus ‘Buchecha’ Almeida, a rising ONE Championship heavyweight mixed martial artist who is also a world champion in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, has become a tremendous admirer of the promotional banner that he competes under, and he claims that he never misses any of the events or fights that are held under that banner.
Mixed martial arts, Muay Thai, kickboxing, submission grappling, and a variety of other styles of martial arts are showcased at events hosted by ONE Championship, the largest martial arts organization in the world.
It hosts at least one live ONE Fight Night event each month, which is streamed on Amazon Prime Video, and it also hosts a weekly show called ONE Friday Fights, which airs every Friday night during primetime in Asia.
Almeida claims that he is able to follow all of those events, which is quite a few to keep track of. He stated the following to ONE Championship:
“I make it a point to see every ONE Championship fight. The occasion and the battles are both quite enjoyable to me.
The last time we saw Almeida, he was competing in a heavyweight bout against Kirill Grishenko at ONE on Prime Video 1 in August 2022. There, he won a heel hook submission victory in the very first round of the fight, which was lightning fast.
After that, “Buchecha” took a little hiatus, but he is now getting ready to return to the ring for his next fight. At ONE Fight Night 13: Allazov vs. Grigorian, which will be shown on Prime Video, he is scheduled to compete against Oumar ‘Reug Reug’ Kane, a Senegalese wrestler who is a sensation.
On Friday, August 4, the event will be telecast live from the illustrious Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Amazon Prime Video offers subscribers in the United States and Canada a cost-free way to watch all of the action from the tournament.
Keep an eye on all the breaking news and information as it pertains to ONE Fight Night 13 as it occurs.
