While he is taking a break from competing in mixed martial arts, Israel Adesanya is trying out new activities. The boxing event known as “The Day of Reckoning” was recently held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and “The Last Stylebender” was present there. Since he arrived in the United Arab Emirates, he has been spending quality time there, and on Christmas Eve, he went to the Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque to pray.
Adesanya has formed a partnership with Devin Haney, the boxing world champion, in order to undergo extreme adventure sports in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and experience a rush of adrenaline. As can be seen on his Instagram story, the two individuals came to an agreement to have a go at skydiving. On Instagram, Adesanya shared a screenshot consisting of a screenshot of their chat.
According to Haney:
You’ll see me there. Because we are fighters, we were born to do this kind of thing.

Israel Adesanya explains the reason for visiting the Grand Mosque on Christmas Eve
A Nigerian Christian family was Israel Adesanya’s birthplace when she was born. It was reported in the comments section of his most recent Instagram postings that his decision to go to the mosque on Christmas Eve had caused confusion regarding his religious allegiance. Adesanya provided a video, in which she responded to the comments, saying:
It is my pleasure to inform you that my grandfather on my mother’s side was a Muslim. As a child, I was raised in a Christian home because both of my parents are Christians. Let me tell you a secret: God is love. I don’t really identify with any one religion, but I simply want to let you know that regardless of whether you are a Christian, a Muslim, a Buddhist, or something else entirely, you are able to go to any location and worship by tapping into the energy. This is true regardless of your religious affiliation.

During his stint as champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Adesanya was one of the most active champions on the UFC roster. In late 2022, the 34-year-old fighter was defeated by Alex Pereira, who was the champion of the UFC middleweight division. This has been a difficult time for him.
His second reign as the UFC middleweight champion came to a screeching conclusion at UFC 293, when Sean Strickland pulled off one of the biggest surprises of the year to dethrone Adesanya. This occurred despite the fact that he had gotten his revenge on Pereira and reclaimed his belt.
After suffering the defeat, the former champion made the decision to step away from the sport for a while. Following his victory in the 205-pound division, Alex Pereira has issued a challenge to Israel Adesanya to compete in a mixed martial arts trilogy. Nevertheless, it is not quite apparent whether or not Adesanya will compete again in the year 2024.
