To claim a third triumph in a row inside the ONE circle, Aung La N Sang couldn’t have asked for a more illustrious platform than the one that was provided to her.

‘The Burmese Python’ finished their middleweight mixed martial arts match at ONE Fight Night 10 with a guillotine choke at the 48-second mark of the second round in front of a sold-out crowd at the 1stBank Centre in Broomfield, Colorado, last week. This victory gave ‘The Burmese Python’ his 30th victory of his professional MMA career.

After an intense and competitive first round, Fan Rong stunned the Myanmarese athlete with a powerful right hand just under a minute into the second round of their bout. However, his desperation to get the upper hand over the Kill Cliff FC athlete on the canvas proved to be expensive, as Aung La N Sang sunk in the match-winning submission from guard – much to the delight of the spectators inside the packed arena. In the end, the contest went to Aung La N Sang.

In an interview after his victory with the South China Morning Post, the boxer from Florida praised the support he had from fans. The interview took place after the fighter had won.

The man, who is 37 years old, stated:

“I am grateful to you for the affection. I am grateful to everyone who has supported us. I count it as a blessing to have so many supporters. God is good.”

Aung La’s most recent victory brought his overall record to 30-13 and earned his third consecutive victory since October 2019. The victory was Aung La’s first since 2019.

More importantly, it improved his case for a chance to win the ONE middleweight world title that he lost to Reinier de Ridder when the two went to battle at ONE: Inside the Matrix in October 2020. This fight is scheduled to take place.

Aung La N Sang, who is frequently considered to be the guardian of the stacked division, is prepared to eliminate any danger that stands in the way of him having a chance to win the middleweight championship.
