Arjan Bhullar promises that during ONE Friday Fights 22, he will defeat Anatoly Malykhin.

Published:

At ONE Friday Fights 22, Arjan Bhullar, the heavyweight world champion, promises to derail Anatoly Malykhin’s hype train.

This coming Friday, June 23, the long-awaited heavyweight unification fight will finally take place inside the revered grounds of Lumpinee Stadium.

Since Bhullar’s absence, the powerful Malykhin has consistently teased the Canadian-Indian world champion. Malykhin took over as the division’s interim leader.

In order to put an end to the chitchat once and for all, Bhullar wants to make the Russian regret his remarks. In his MMA career, “Singh” even went so far as to declare that he will be the first combatant to defeat and defeat Malykhin:

He divulged the following exclusively to the South China Morning Post:

“I’ll get him. I’ll get him. It will depend on what he is which round will take place. Indeed, it may be early or deeper. I cannot choose the round. That depends on what he carries inside.
Watch the entire interview with Bhullar:

Although Bhullar lacks the two-division world champion’s nuclear one-shot power, we have seen him have the potential to overwhelm and pummel opponents into submission.

When the American Kickboxing Academy student destroyed Brandon Vera at ONE: Dangal back in 2021, he became the first MMA world champion of Indian ancestry.

When Bhullar was able to keep pace with a dangerous attacker like Vera on the feet, he displayed his underappreciated boxing skills. Using his great wrestling background to take the battle to the mats and beat “The Truth” with devastating ground and pound, he finished the job in round two.

Can Malykhin be taken to deep waters and have his power neutralized by Bhullar? At ONE Friday Fights 22 in a couple of days, we’ll find out very soon.
