After making a great debut in the ONE Championship, Freddie Haggerty issues a warning by saying, “I’m powerful, I’m dangerous.”

At the 49th installment of ONE Friday Fights, which took place this past week, Freddie Haggerty made his long-awaited debut inside the Circle.

As the younger brother of Jonathan Haggerty, who has won world championships in two different sports, the 19-year-old athlete enters the promotion with a great deal of anticipation to live up to.

The fact that he does not allow this pressure to weigh all too heavily on his shoulders was demonstrated by the outstanding performance that he gave inside the illustrious Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

In the second round, he made it a point to finish the fight on Dankalong Sor Dechapan with a knockout that would be worthy of a highlight reel in order to start his ONE account in impeccable fashion.

For all intents and purposes, it is evident that Haggerty possesses the self-assurance of a person who has spent his entire life learning from and training alongside a world champion.

In an interview with the South China Morning Post, he stated that he is not coming to make up the numbers and that he is coming to make a significant influence on this organization in the near future:

“I demonstrated what I am capable of doing. Not only am I here to be a contender, but I am also powerful and dangerous.

Freddie Haggerty will now turn his attention to ONE Fight Night 19 to support his brother

Jonathan’s next fight, which will take place at ONE Fight Night 19, will not receive the same amount of attention and effort from Freddie Haggerty as his brother did for him at ONE Friday Fights 49.

When ‘The General’ puts his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship on the line for the very first fight, the two brothers will be looking to maintain their current run of success in the sport.

In his upcoming battle on February 16, Haggerty will be facing Felipe Lobo of Brazil. He is approaching this fight with the same level of confidence as a fighter who defeated two world champions in consecutive fights in the previous year.

His momentum is at an all-time high, and although Lobo has the potential to be a challenging opponent, the British player is confident that he will once again shine in this situation.

In the United States, during primetime, ONE Fight Night 19 will be broadcast live and free of charge to viewers in North America who have an active subscription to Prime Video.
