Fans react as Superbon displays his fluid arsenal in preparation for his big battle against Tawanchai. “Virtuosity”

Published:

Tawanchai PK Saenchai will finally get the opportunity to fight Superbon Singha Mawynn for his ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title. Superbon Singha Mawynn is a former world champion in the featherweight division of kickboxing. Their first historic matchup had to be postponed because the former kickboxing world champion sustained an injury while training for the fight.

After that, Tawanchai competed against Jo Nattawut, a late-replacement opponent, and won by unanimous decision in a three-round banger that took place at ONE Fight Night 15 a few weeks ago.

Now that he is healthy and prepared to fight another pound-for-pound great, the former kickboxing king can’t wait to go toe-to-toe with the Muay Thai world champion of his division at ONE Friday Fights 46 on December 22. The event will take place in Bangkok, Thailand.

This impending super fight, just as the battle that took place in September between Rodtang and Superlek, will go down in history as a very significant event. It is quite unusual to have two of the best fighters in any combat sport competing against one other while they are in the prime of their careers.

Before his fight with Tawanchai, ONE Championship published a video with the following caption showing the two strikers competing against one another in a training session.

“Superbon’s got all kinds of tricks up his sleeve 💯 What moves can we expect on December 22 when he challenges Tawanchai for the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title at ONE Friday Fights 46? 🏆 @superbon_banchamek.”

There’s a good chance that Superbon was already performing high kicks the moment he emerged from his mother’s womb. His in-depth understanding of the mechanics of kicking is unmatched by anyone else in the world. Fans left comments on the video expressing their admiration for the innovative sense of technique and timing displayed by the former world champion:

Following the missing head kick, @limktg_7132 and @mc27raw praised the nice leg trip that was performed:

“That back trip was smooth! 🧀😈””Smooth,” is how Twitter user @elcoachnono characterized the Thai emblem in a great way:

“👏🏼 Virtuosity.”
ONE Friday Fights 46 will be broadcasted live from the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, so make sure not to miss it! On December 22, the entirety of the card will be made available on the YouTube account of ONE Championship as well as the ONE Super App.
