Liam Harrison is “not far off” from commencing a true training camp as he hits the pads in this video.

Liam Harrison has uploaded a video of himself hitting pads in training, in which he appears to be in top form in front of his much anticipated homecoming.

Harrison made an effort to capitalize on his two-fight winning streak by unseating the reigning champion Nong-O Hama for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title in August 2022. Harrison’s opponent was Nong-O Hama. Unfortunately for ‘Hitman,’ Nong-O had other intentions and won the fight through first-round technical knockout thanks to leg kicks.

In the wake of Harrison’s defeat in the world title match, his doctors informed him that he would require knee surgery in order to recuperate from the damage caused by Nong-O. After a few months had passed, the former Muay Thai world champion with multiple titles is slated to make his comeback later this year.

Recently, Liam Harrison updated his followers on Instagram with information regarding his current state of recovery. The footage of him working out was included in the post that was shared on social media, and the caption read:

“Training today, five months after the operation…Getting closer and closer to where I was before…not quite ready to start a fight camp just yet, but not far off @johngillies123 @andybadco1 #muaythai #padwork #rehab @yokkao @gymking” “not quite ready to start a fight camp just yet, but not far off”

In the month of October, Liam Harrison intends to make his comeback. “Hitman” aspires to secure a battle against ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Jonathan Haggerty or a matchup against the number one contender as soon as possible, even if his next opponent has not yet been confirmed.

Harrison still has the drive and ability to compete at the highest level, despite the fact that he is 37 years old. The question that needs to be answered is how the injury to his knee will influence the rest of his career. It appears like ‘Hitman’ is getting back into fighting shape, judging by the video he posted on social media.

It is impossible to predict at this point whether or not Harrison would be able to round off his comeback narrative with a happy ending by winning a world title in ONE.
