As the fight hype heats up, Kamaru Usman is convinced that he will knock out Khamzat Chimaev.

Kamaru Usman is eager to get back to winning ways, and there are persistent reports about the former champion inviting Khamzat Chimaev into the biggest fight of his career. Kamaru Usman is keen to get back to winning ways. The African has projected that he will achieve a stoppage victory within the first four rounds of the possible welterweight battle. These reports have been heating up recently.

In his most recent two UFC appearances, “The Nigerian Nightmare” was knocked out and then lost by decision. This was his first loss in the knockout round. Even though he is still regarded as one of the top competitors in the weight class, the multitalented athlete will almost certainly have to secure a number of victories before he can push his way back into the running for the title at 170 pounds.

In a tweet on social media, Kamaru Usman asked supporters to ‘watch the tapes’ as he predicted a finish of the highly powerful European prodigy Khamzat Chimaev. Khamzat Chimaev is now unbeaten in his professional career.

Despite the fact that Chimaev has been victorious in all three of his bouts at welterweight in the UFC to this point, it appears like his continued participation in the division may be in risk. As a result of missing weight by a significant margin and losing the opportunity to fight Nate Diaz, the organization is ostensibly pressuring the rising young star to make the jump up to the middleweight division.

Although he had aspirations of winning the championship at 170 pounds, ‘Borz’ has already participated in the octagon twice at 185 pounds in the past. During his two bouts in the weight class, he was victorious against both the considerably more experienced John Phillips and the grappling expert Gerald Meerschaert. Both of his opponents were defeated in a matter of minutes.

Kamaru Usman has competed at the welterweight division his entire career and has seen tremendous success in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) ever since he won season 21 of the show in 2015. His unbeaten run of 15 fights will be remembered as one of the most impressive winning streaks in the history of the organization.

Is Kamaru Usman the only fighter linked to fighting Khamzat Chimaev?

Who else except Khamzat Chimaev and Kamaru Usman was rumored to fight the Swede? Although nothing has been confirmed, it appears that the next bout in the cage will be between Khamzat Chimaev and Kamaru Usman.

Before he made the decision to go up to the middleweight class, the 29-year-old was willing to face Colby Covington in a fight for the number-one contender spot for the UFC championship. This fight would have been for the gold.

After their altercation at the UFC PI, it was believed that Chimaev would be interested in fighting Paulo Costa. This matchup would have been the undefeated star’s debut in his new division and would have featured Chimaev as the opponent.
