With a great performance against John Lineker, Stephen Loman hopes to demonstrate that he is worthy of a crack at the world championship.

Stephen Loman intends to make a statement in his upcoming bout in order to demonstrate that he is worthy of a crack at the ONE bantamweight world title.

With a record of 13-2 in professional mixed martial arts competition, Loman made his debut in ONE Championship in the month of December 2021. Since then, the affiliate of Team Lakay has earned three victories in a row, the most recent of which was a unanimous decision victory against the former world champion Bibiano Fernandes.

At ONE Fight Night 14, which will take place on September 29, Loman will compete against John Lineker, who is also a former ONE bantamweight world champion. Even though nothing is definite, it is assumed that the victor will earn a crack at the championship against Fabricio Andrade, who is now the bantamweight king.

During an interview with The MMA Superfan, Loman was asked about the possibility of his upcoming fight having ramifications for a championship opportunity, and he responded as follows:

I have the distinct impression that now is my moment, and I intend to demonstrate that to John Lineker in this match.

Stephen Loman has established himself as a formidable opponent by claiming victories against notable competitors such as Yusup Saadulaev, Shoko Sato, and Bibiano Fernandes. Having said that, it might be said that ‘The Sniper’ has never faced an adversary who was as deadly as John Lineker.

In the meanwhile, Lineker is a seasoned veteran of mixed martial arts competition, having competed in 46 professional bouts to date. “Hands of Stone” still has plenty of gas left in the tank, but after a difficult two-fight series against Fabricio Andrade, he has to silence the naysayers in order to go on to the next level.

At ONE Fight Night 14, which will take place inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium, one of the many fascinating bouts that are slated to take place is between Stephen Loman and John Lineker. Fans residing in North America who have a current membership to Amazon Prime Video will get access to the event that will take place on September 29.
