When Michael “Venom” Page makes his debut in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) against Kevin Holland, he pledges to create a “big storm” inside the octagon.

Published:

Michael “Venom” Page, the most recent fighter to be signed by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), is scheduled to make his highly anticipated debut at UFC 299 on March 9, 2024.

UFC President Dana White made the announcement regarding Page’s deal during the press conference that took place after the UFC 296 fight. White went on to say that Page would be competing against Kevin Holland, a veteran of the UFC welterweight division, at the pay-per-view event in 2012.

Page related the story of how he and White were able to settle the agreement, and he made the following statement:

“It was absolute chaos trying to get things done. The message was something along the lines of, “We want to get it done so that we can announce it,” and as a result, I had a feeling that it was going to be released during the post-press conference of the UFC.
Additionally, “MVP” pledged that his debut will generate even more excitement than the hoopla that is already around him.

However, he did it in such a casual manner, and I found that to be incredibly interesting. More than anything else. The person who said it was someone who remarked something along the lines of, “You’re just going to drop it like that?” The fact that he did it in such a careless manner followed by the fact that it made a great deal of noise thereafter is something that I kind of admire. Indeed, it has been a very long forty-eight hours. When it comes to work, I am prepared, despite the fact that people were saying things like, “I don’t know how you’re still up.” Not at this time is the storm. It seems as though there is a significant storm raging around my name. However, the storm will come while I am confined, so have faith in me.

Former Bellator champion Michael Chandler discusses Michael ‘Venom’ Page’s style and UFC debut

Freeweight in the UFC Similar to Michael “Venom” Page, Michael Chandler made his way to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) after achieving success in Bellator.

Chandler recently gave an interview on Steve-O’s Wild Ride!, during which he highlighted Page’s fighting style and also talked about his first fight, which happened to be against Kevin Holland. It was him who said:

‘Venom’ Page, Michael, please. In regard to him, I have conflicting feelings. I do not like the way he dresses. I find that to be really bothersome. Simply put, he moves around in a manner that is reminiscent of a drunken warrior karate technique. Nevertheless, he has a number of absurd knockouts. I am referring to the individual’s crazy knockouts, which include back elbows and spinning kicks that are absolutely ludicrous. He has caused people’s faces to crumble… It’s easy to see why he’s a highlight reel guy. I believe that Kevin Holland would be an awful opponent for him to face. I believe that Kevin Holland is more likely to defeat him. On the other hand, I like ‘MVP’ as a guy. The way I see it, he’s a chill man.
