Jihin Radzuan, who is now placed in the top five at the atomweight division, says that the time she spent training with Stamp Fairtex in the gym has helped her improve her talents for the future.
Stamp is set to make her long-awaited comeback to the ring on September 29, when she will compete for the interim atomweight ONE world championship against one of the most difficult opponents she has faced to this point, the South Korean star Ham Seo Hee. As ONE Championship makes its long-awaited return to their “home away from home,” Singapore Indoor Stadium, the two fighters will headline the promotion’s highly anticipated ONE Fight Night 14 card.
Jihin Radzuan made the following statement to ONE Championship after revealing information regarding her work with Stamp:
“It doesn’t function in just one direction. I feel that Stamp and the other people at the gym, both female and male, have also been of assistance.”
“Shadow Cat” has not only competed against Stamp Fairtex, but they have also worked out together in the past. The fight between Radzuan and Stamp Fairtex that took place at ONE on Prime Video 2 in September ended in a loss for Radzuan, who was handed a loss by unanimous decision at the hands of the Thai fighter who was the crowd favorite in that country.
Stamp has earned himself the right to once again compete for the atomweight world title and etch her name into the history books by becoming the promotion’s first-ever three-sport world champion. He won this right by adding another outstanding win against Alyse Anderson at ONE Fight Night 10 in May. Anderson was Stamp’s opponent at that event.
On September 29, 2018, Amazon Prime Video users in North America will be able to watch the entirety of ONE Fight Night 14 live and without charge during primetime in the United States.
