The ONE Championship fight between Liam Nolan and Nauzet Trujillo is scheduled to take place on February 16 at ONE Fight Night 19.

Lethal Liam Nolan will compete for the second time this year at ONE Fight Night 19, which will be his second fight of the year.

Just a little more than a month after his victory by majority decision over Russian slugger Ali Aliev at ONE Fight Night 18 last month, the British striker will compete against Nauzet Trujillo in a lightweight Muay Thai war inside the renowned Lumpinee Boxing Stadium during primetime in the United States on February 16.

This battle and another three-round competition were both displayed on the promotion’s website earlier today, where they were officially announced.

This past January, the London-based star sent a notice in his division with a brilliant performance in Bangkok, Thailand. This was after he had been sidelined throughout the entirety of 2023 owing to a number of injuries and illnesses.

Aliev appeared to have the Englishman cornered in the first round, but his forward pressure and crisp striking armament, which included one-two combinations, spinning elbows, and jumping kicks, proved to be too much for Aliev to handle.

In the same vein, there have been discussions about the possibility of the Knowlesy Academy star engaging in a fight with Regian Eersel for the ONE lightweight Muay Thai world title. However, it seems that the Knowlesy Academy star may have another commitment to fulfill before buying his ticket to 26 pounds of gold.

Liam Nolan has demonstrated why he is considered to be one of the most intriguing fighters on the roster by winning four fights under the ONE Championship banner. These victories were against notable competitors such as Brown Pinas, Kim Kyung Lock, Eddie Abasolo, and Aliev.

In addition, he guarantees that he will demonstrate it once more when ONE Fight Night 19 returns to the Mecca of Muay Thai events in approximately two weeks.

Liam Nolan faces an interesting challenge in Trujillo

It is not reasonable for Liam Nolan to presume that he is capable of putting an end to his Spanish dance partner on February 16, despite the fact that the odds may be stacked in his favor.

As a result of his out-of-the-box technique and lightning-quick speed, Trujillo was able to defeat some of the best fighters in Europe. The native of Tenerife is eager to drag himself out of the muck after suffering a loss to Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong in August of last year by a unanimous decision.

Despite the fact that the Thai warrior’s accuracy and string of strikes got him the judges’ nod after a nine-minute conflict, the striker, who is 34 years old, shown a great deal of spirit in his competition against the Thai warrior.

With the opportunity to make amends for his past transgressions, Trujillo will not hold back when he takes on one of the most difficult challenges he has faced up to this point, which comes in the form of Liam Nolan.

In the evening of February 16, fans in North America who have an active subscription to Amazon Prime Video will be able to watch the complete ONE Fight Night 19 event live and for free during primetime in the United States.
