Sage Northcutt is willing to participate in other ONE Championship events.

Sage Northcutt isn’t willing to limit herself to MMA competitions.Northcutt disclosed that his ultimate goal is to compete in as many combat sports disciplines as he can given that ONE Championship coordinates and promotes four different combat sports disciplines under one banner.‘Super’ Sage, though, has a mixed martial arts fight scheduled for this Friday, May 5, at ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III on Prime Video at the sold-out 1stBank Centre, when he will face Ahmed Mujtaba.

Sage Northcutt stated that MMA is still his top priority and that branching out into other disciplines is his long-term objective in an interview with ONE Championship.

“I’m definitely concentrating on this MMA bout right now. I was excited to do it going into ONE Championship. I still eagerly anticipate that. I still have the same objectives, the same aspirations, and the same amount of enthusiasm and fervour, if not more. So there will undoubtedly be something intriguing in the future.Since the American celebrity has a 15-0 professional kickboxing record, it might not be too unlikely to see him compete inside the Circle. He might even don his four-ounce gloves and try his hand at Muay Thai.

With his considerable karate training and pure striker style, Northcutt could easily integrate into the stacked Muay Thai and kickboxing lineups of the ONE Championship.

But since MMA is still his main sport, Ahmed Mujtaba’s lopsided defeat in Colorado is all he really wants.

Although Northcutt is unranked in the competitive lightweight division, a convincing victory over Mujtaba might make him a contender to make the top five.

The live stream of ONE Fight Night 10 is free and accessible to all North American Prime Video customers.
