Sage Northcutt is confident that his comeback will go down without a hitch on the ONE Fight Night 10 show.


Sage Northcutt is scheduled to make his long-awaited comeback to the squared circle for the tenth installment of ONE Fight Night.In his first fight in over four years, which will take place on May 5 against Ahmed Mujtaba, he will be competing under the ONE Championship banner for the second time.Sage had to go through a few challenging years in his career when he signed with ONE Championship in 2019, which generated a lot of enthusiasm and anticipation among fans for the prospect of watching him perform inside the circle.

After suffering a knockout defeat in his first fight within the first thirty seconds of the bout, Northcutt was compelled to take some time off to undergo surgery and a recuperation procedure, which kept him out of the public eye for the better part of two years.

Sage had planned to make his comeback in 2021; however, he was forced to endure a drawn-out battle with COVID-19, which further postponed his homecoming till the present day. Sage was pumped up and eager to show off his abilities when the ideal day for him to compete spontaneously presented itself.

The evening of May 5 will go down in the annals of ONE Championship as the night of the promotion’s very first event ever held in the United States. The event will be broadcast live from the 1stBank Centre in Broomfield, Colorado.

Sage Northcutt expressed his excitement about making a comeback and the opportunity to put on a show for the fans in Colorado as part of a stacked programme in an interview with ESPN MMA. He said, “I’m coming back and my first fight back I get to fight in the United States. Getting to have US fans engaged. I believe it will be an excellent card for my first bout after taking some time off.”On May 5, ONE Fight Night 10 will feature Sage in a bout against Ahmed Mujtaba. Viewers in North America will be able to watch the full event live and without charge on Amazon Prime Video.
